Dear Bilo Bar Members,

Hundreds of people are living in Evacuation centres throughout Fiji following severe flooding which occurred last weekend. In the Sigatoka district alone there are more than a dozen evacuation centres and the Resort provided immediate assistance when flood waters went down by providing hot meals and towels and sheets to those whose homes were flooded and who lost most of their belongings in the deluge last weekend.

Some members of the executive team and managers led by General Manager, David Hopcroft, have been providing hot meals since Tuesday to evacuees at Sigatoka District School as well as Andra Indian College. We are posting some pictures up onto the website as well so that you can see for yourselves the devastation wrought by the floods.
